Moving Forward during a Pandemic

2021 Quarterly Update reporting steady achievements and work-in-progress of Intango Phase I.

The past year has been a challenging time for much of the world- including for those living in Rwanda. Despite numerous strict lockdowns, continued check-points and neighborhood monitoring, and major disruptions of essential services, the Intango team and construction crew in Rwanda continue to persevere! We commend the Intango team and construction crew for their diligence and hard work during very trying times. Here is a brief snapshot of the construction and Phase I project completion that has occurred since the beginning of the pandemic:

·      Phase I of Intango

Fully Completed:

  • Walling and roofing
  • Electrical
  • T-bar installation
  • Tiling and flooring
  • Reception and office cabinetry

  • Wastewater treatment system fully operational– final finishing and covering to be done

The Intango team and construction crew continue their active work of Phase I completion with the intent of having full government inspections take place in the coming weeks in order to obtain the much needed occupancy permit from the City of Kigali this summer.
